This is a tour of the southwestern region, which is popular among Koreans, and is conducted by a Korean-speaking guide.

Seoul to Jeonju
► Pungnammun – The first gate of Honam, the southern entrance to Jeolla Gamyeong during the Joseon Dynasty
Admire Nammun Market, a representative traditional market, and the Statue of a Girl, a symbol of the 36 years of Japanese colonial rule.
► Jeondong Cathedral – A Western-style building built in 1914, it was destroyed during the Shinhae Persecution in 1791.
The first cathedral built on the site of the martyrdom of two martyrs in Korea
► Gyeonggijeon – A hall housing a portrait of King Taejo, founder of the Joseon Dynasty in 1392.
► Hanok Village – Approximately 700 hanoks built in the Pungnam-dong and Gyo-dong areas of Jeonju-si
A new concept tourist attraction filled with the charm and food of old culture in a traditional village.
Move from Jeonju to Damyang
► Juknokwon – A bamboo garden opened in 2003, featuring Metasequoia Road, etc.
Explore a 300 km walking trail lined with trees over 2.2 years old.
(A place where you can relax your mind with a cup of bamboo tea after a bamboo forest bath)
Move from Damyang to Mokpo
After dinner, stay at the hotel and rest

Move from Boseong to Suncheon

Move from Suncheon to Yeosu
► OPTION TOUR – Yeosu Marine Cable Car $20/person
The first bridge in Korea, approximately 1.5km long, connecting the island and the mainland over the sea
Enjoy the view of Geobukseon Bridge and the beautiful sea off Yeosu from the cable car.
After dinner, stay at the hotel and rest

► Gwangyang Steelworks (Chachang) – The world’s largest single steelworks with an annual production capacity of 1,800 million tons
Steel mills with crude steel production capacity (Pohang Iron and Steel Company 1,500 million tons)
Move from Gwangyang to Hadong
► Songnim Park – To avoid the sandstorm blowing from the Seomjin River in the 21st year of King Yeongjo’s reign
The walking path along the riverside, lined with a pine forest, is the ultimate healing course.
Move from Hadong to Jinju
► Jinjuseong Fortress – The site of the Battle of Jinjuseong Fortress, one of the three major battles of the Imjin War.
It was a place where fierce battles took place as it was a crossroads blocking the Jeolla-do region.
► Namgang Chokseoknu – During the Japanese invasions of 1593, the Japanese general was thrown down the cliff of Chokseoknu.
Jeongja is remembered as 'Nongae', a strong woman with a righteous spirit who embraced and sacrificed herself.
Moving to Jinju-Geoje Island (the mecca of Korea's shipbuilding industry)
► OPTION TOUR – Oedo Marine Park & Haegumgang Cruise $40/person
* Oedo Marine Park – A beautiful tropical island developed by an individual for over 40 years.
A marine park with a spectacular array of diverse plant gardens, a paradise
* Haegumgang – A place with breathtaking scenery that has been eroded by typhoons and waves for tens of thousands of years.
A place with the best scenery, called the Diamond Mountain on the sea
☞ Instead of the Oedo cruise, you can go to Hansan Island for $25/person

Geoje (via Geoga Bridge) - Busan
► Geoga Bridge – A bridge that opened in 2010 connecting Geoje Island and Gadeok Island in Busan.
It consists of a cable-stayed bridge over the sea and an underwater [immersed tunnel] approximately 3.7 km long.
☞ After lunch at Gimhae Airport, take the KTX from Busan to Seoul
Disbandment or hotel stay option upon arrival in Seoul
